The Foundation

UK training, Leeds Medical School, and the FRCP.

Dr. Kaushal qualified from Leeds Medical School and trained across leading UK teaching hospitals before being elected Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP) in 2004 — a recognition reserved for physicians who demonstrate excellence and leadership in clinical medicine.

NHS Legacy

20+ years at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, London.

As a Consultant Endocrinologist, she was repeatedly named the patients' first-choice physician within her department. In 2021 she received the NHS Clinical Excellence Award at Level 9 — the most senior tier of national clinical recognition — for outstanding contribution to patient care, teaching, and service development.

Current Practice

Quaternary endocrine care at Burjeel Medical City.

Today she leads a complex endocrinology practice at Burjeel Medical City Hospital, Abu Dhabi, supporting patients across the UAE and wider region. Her caseload spans the full breadth of endocrine medicine — from straightforward diabetes optimisation to highly complex pituitary, adrenal, and oncology cases.

Philosophy of care

Every consultation begins with listening. Decisions are shared, evidence-based, and shaped around the realities of a patient's life — because long-term endocrine outcomes depend on partnerships, not prescriptions alone.
